In this second volume of Sydney – We Need To Talk!, members of the Sydney Urban Crew reflect on their city through the lens of critical urban theory. Each essay engages with a favoured or demonstrative place in Sydney and connects this to a key concept or theme in urban studies and geography. In doing so, the collection draws out the stories, challenges, ambiguities and potentials of these places. This collection, therefore, invites readers to critically inquire about specific sites in the city, as well as Sydney more broadly.
