Sydney - We Need to Talk! is a limited edition book, published as PIR at the University of Sydney Library, 20 July - 21 September 2018.
The Publication
During her 8 week residency Wendy used letterpress, screen print and digital printing processes to produce Sydney - We Need to Talk!, a collection of short, accessible interventions about the politics of urbanisation. The 56 page book as released in conjunction with the Festival of Urbanism. Wendy has also published a series of limited edition screen prints, in response to the eight essays in Sydney - We Need to Talk!

11 September The book launch with the Festival of Urbanism was a massive success!! We have SOLD OUT of the first release allocation. Stay tuned for the second drop!
25 August Over the last four weeks, our inaugural Printer in Residence, Wendy Murray, has been breathing life into the Piscator Press on level 1 of Fisher Library.
The process of hand setting type and printing each copy manually means that every single one is unique. Letterpress is joining vinyl records in these times of analogue revival, but these printing presses are very rare...check out the studio »»
